Our Mares
Our mares who play a foundational role in the success of our breeding program.
WCMHC Yearling
Amaretto Velvet Vixen
2023 AMHA/AMHR Bay Mare "Velvet"
Hunterberry Hill Simply Impressive X Amaretto Too Much Sangria
Velvet is one of those special young mares that makes us incredibly excited about the future of our program. Wrapped in a silky, nearly black bay package, Velvet combines an elegant, refined look with beautiful length of leg, a lovely topline, a good hip, and the presence and personality to get noticed.
But what makes Velvet especially exciting to us is that she is already proving herself in the show ring.
Her pedigree is equally exciting.
Velvet is sired by Hunterberry Hill Simply Impressive, a World Grand Champion Junior Stallion whose Arabian type and influence have become highly sought after. His offspring have gone on to make their mark in the show ring and in breeding programs, making him a very exciting sire to have behind a future broodmare.
On the bottom side, Velvet is out of Amaretto Too Much Sangria, a proven WCMHC futurity mare who was a 2020 WCMHC Futurity Halter Champion and earned the WCMHC Futurity Aggregate Buckle. Sangria was known for her beautiful exotic type, lovely movement, exceptional show attitude, and sweet temperament—and she has already proven herself as a producer.
This cross is exactly the kind of pedigree we are excited to build upon at MeadowBrook Lane.
Velvet brings together proven show-ring genetics, extreme refinement, beautiful movement, presence, and a pedigree from a program that believes in “show horses producing show horses.”
As a young mare, we are incredibly excited about what lies ahead for Velvet. Our goal is to give her time to mature, continue developing, and eventually become an important part of our breeding program.
We believe she has all the ingredients to become a very special producer—and we are so excited to see which qualities she passes on to her future foals.

2016 AMHR Sorrel Pinto Mare "Cali"
Buck On Iceys Red Hot Sox X Lucky Harts American Exotica
Cali is a mare that truly brings together beauty, pedigree, show-ring presence, and proven performance—making her an especially exciting addition to our breeding program.
She is a beautifully upright and correct mare with an expressive face, lovely presence, and the kind of quality that immediately catches your eye. But beyond her beautiful appearance, Cali has already proven herself in the show ring.
Her pedigree is filled with some of the great names in the miniature horse world. Cali is a daughter of Buck On Iceys Red Hot Sox, a National Top Ten Champion, and is out of Lucky Harts American Exotica, a multiple Top Five Champion.
Her pedigree also carries the legendary Little Kings Buck On Broadway (HOF) and Mountain Meadow’s D’s American Express (HOF), along with Grosshill Boogerman’s Perfection & Wardance—giving her generations of proven show and breeding influence behind her.
And the strength of this family doesn’t stop with Cali.
Her full sister, Bondes Bouncin B Red Hot Quesidilia (HOF x2), went on to become a 2x National Champion and National Grand Champion in Park Harness, further demonstrating the incredible quality and versatility present within this cross.
Cali’s pedigree has also continued to make an impact as a producer. Her offspring have been sought after for their refinement, expression, and show potential, with other programs continuing to utilize her bloodlines.
For MeadowBrook Lane, Cali represents exactly what we are striving to build—a broodmare band centered around proven pedigrees, correct conformation, show-ring quality, beautiful type, and the ability to produce the next generation of exceptional miniature horses.
We are incredibly excited to see what Cali can contribute to our program and what special babies she will produce in the years ahead. With her pedigree, her own accomplishments, and the strength of her family behind her, we believe she has a very exciting future as a MeadowBrook Lane broodmare.

2025 AMHR Bay Pinto Mare "Lady"
Erica's Trotters Makers Mark X SMF's Sizzles Redi or Not HOF
Lady may be young, but she is already showing us exactly why we are so excited about her future.
This little mare is beautifully upright, incredibly refined, and stylish, with a gorgeous head, expressive eye, those adorable hooky ears, and an elegant overall presence that immediately catches your attention. She has the kind of look we are striving to incorporate into the next generation at MeadowBrook Lane.
And then there is her movement. Lady has an incredible natural way of going and the kind of athleticism that makes us believe she has a very exciting future ahead of her as a driving prospect. We cannot wait to watch her mature and eventually see what she can accomplish in harness.
Her pedigree is where Lady becomes even more exciting.
Her sire, Erica’s Trotters Makers Mark, is an accomplished ASPC/AMHR black driving stallion who earned Grand Champion, Champion of Champions, and Congress Reserve Champion honors. His pedigree includes Erica’s Tiny Trotter of Wallstreet and Rhapsody’s Sweet Liza Lee HOF, bringing together refinement, movement, and proven performance genetics.
On Lady’s maternal side is an absolute powerhouse.
Her dam, SMF’s Sizzles Redi or Not HOF, is a 9-time AMHR National Champion, AMHR Halter HOF, AMHR Reserve National Grand Champion, and a multiple-time Grand Champion mare in Tulsa. She brings an incredible show record and an equally impressive pedigree, including NHF Sizzles Black Raven HOF and JC’s Red Hot Momma.
Lady therefore carries some truly exceptional names behind her, including NHF Sizzles Black Raven HOF, a Hall of Fame horse whose influence can be found in successful halter and driving programs.
For us, Lady represents the future.
She is a young mare with the refinement, elegance, movement, pedigree, and family history that we believe can make her an extremely valuable part of our broodmare band as she matures.
Our vision at MeadowBrook Lane is to combine proven champion bloodlines with correct conformation, extreme refinement, beautiful movement, exceptional type, and the versatility to succeed in both halter and performance.
Lady fits that vision beautifully. If she stays under 34”, we are especially excited about the possibility of pursuing AMHA registration for her as well, giving this little mare an even greater opportunity to make her mark.
We are so excited to watch this little girl grow into herself and eventually become a part of our breeding program. With the incredible horses behind her and the qualities she already possesses, we believe Lady has a very bright future ahead of her.
The best part? This little lady is only just getting started.

2013 AMHR Black Pinto Mare "Mia"
NHF Sizzles Black Raven HOF X SMF Heiress of Brush Creek
Mia is a mare who represents something incredibly important to us at MeadowBrook Lane — proven quality that can be passed on.
Beautifully marked, refined, and full of natural presence, Mia has the look and movement that immediately catch your eye. She is an easy mare to work with, has a tremendous amount of natural motion and talent, and carries herself with the kind of presence we love in our broodmares.
But what makes Mia particularly special is what she has already proven as a producer.
Mia has produced two very nice foals, including one who has earned multiple placings at the National level. She is also an excellent mother, getting in foal easily and foaling out without difficulty — qualities that are incredibly valuable when building a serious breeding program.
Her pedigree is equally impressive.
Mia is a daughter of NHF Sizzles Black Raven HOF, a National Champion and Hall of Fame stallion who has gone on to become a highly influential sire. His offspring include multiple National Champions, including Mia and, SMF’s Sizzles Redi or Not HOF, who went on to become a 9-time AMHR National Champion, AMHR Halter HOF, and Reserve National Grand Champion.
On the bottom side, Mia is out of SMF’s Heiress of Brush Creek, a producing mare with Ramble Ridge Rocket influence behind her. This gives Mia another valuable layer of established miniature horse genetics and proven maternal influence.
And that is exactly what makes Mia such an exciting mare for MeadowBrook Lane.
She isn’t simply carrying a beautiful pedigree — she is carrying a pedigree that has already proven itself through generations.
With NHF Sizzles Black Raven HOF on top and a proven producing mare on the bottom, Mia gives us the opportunity to build on some truly successful genetics while maintaining the qualities we value most: refinement, natural movement, correct structure, presence, temperament, and proven maternal ability.
As we continue expanding MeadowBrook Lane, we are becoming increasingly intentional about building a broodmare band that isn’t based solely on a horse’s appearance or a list of famous names. We want mares that can produce — mares with the genetics, conformation, temperament, and maternal qualities to consistently give their foals the best possible start.
Mia checks those boxes.
She has already given us a glimpse of what she can produce, and we are incredibly excited to give her the opportunity to continue that legacy here at MeadowBrook Lane.
There is something especially exciting about bringing a mare with a proven production record into a growing breeding program. The next chapter isn’t about wondering what she might produce — it’s about seeing just how far we can take what she has already proven

2017 AMHR/ASPC Pinto Mare "Cherry"
Fillipowicz's That's All Foulkes (HOF) X Mccarthy's Heaven Sent
Cherry is a beautiful, eye-catching mare with an exceptional pedigree behind her, making her a very exciting addition to our breeding program. Her pedigree combines some well-known names in the miniature and American Shetland world, including Filipowicz’s That’s All Foulks (HOF), Graham’s Classic Entertainer (HOF), Twilight Sentinel, McCarthy’s Heaven Sent, and Michigan’s Heir To The Throne (HOF).
Her sire, Filipowicz’s That’s All Foulks (HOF), is a particularly exciting part of Cherry’s pedigree. His influence can be found behind multiple AMHR/ASPC breeding programs, including other mares being utilized as successful broodmares.
Cherry brings together generations of Shetland influence, refinement, show-ring presence, and proven bloodlines, making her an exciting mare to build around.
As we continue expanding the MeadowBrook Lane breeding program, our goal is to carefully combine exceptional pedigrees with quality conformation, beautiful movement, correct structure, and wonderful temperaments to produce foals that have the potential to excel both in the show ring and as future breeding stock.
Cherry is a mare we are particularly excited to see contribute to that vision. We have some very exciting crosses planned for her, and we can’t wait to see what she produces for us in the years ahead.

2013 AMHR/ASPC Buckskin Mare "Silke"
Rhapsody's Reign Man HOF X Royal Pretty Special
Silke is a beautiful buckskin mare with an exceptionally exciting pedigree, and we are very proud to have her joining our expanding breeding program.
Her sire, Rhapsody’s Reign Man HOF, is one of the standout names in her pedigree. Reign Man is a son of Rudolph’s Golden Comanche HOF and Rhapsody’s Rhythm & Jazz HOF, bringing together some very influential Shetland and miniature bloodlines. His influence can be seen throughout successful AMHR/ASPC programs, with his offspring and descendants earning National and Congress honors as well as going on to become valuable breeding animals.
Silke’s pedigree also carries the Royal family through her dam, Royal Pretty Special, adding another beautiful layer to an already impressive pedigree.
What makes Silke especially exciting to us is the opportunity to combine her refinement, beautiful buckskin coloring, classic type, and exceptional Reign Man pedigree with the stallions we are bringing into our program.
As MeadowBrook Lane continues to grow, we are becoming increasingly intentional about building a broodmare band with quality, proven bloodlines, correct conformation, beautiful movement, and the potential to produce exceptional future show and breeding horses.
Silke is a wonderful piece of that vision. Her pedigree gives us a strong foundation to build upon, and we are incredibly excited to see what she can contribute to the next generation.
We have some very exciting crosses planned for this beautiful girl, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for her and her babies.
